i find philip quast’s javert incredibly attractive in the tenth anniversary concert. he has this brutal disciplinarian charisma, and he’s tall and broad-chested and his shoulders — and that voice, oh man. yeah, awkward…

i’m a bit worried about russell crowe’s javert. he has a weak voice compared to the other actors, and i’m scared of his rendition of “stars”. javert should have a strong, booming voice and russell doesn’t seem like he does, but i’ll just wait and see.
1000% agreed.

i’ve seen les mis in london twice and have described it to my sister for years. next year, i’ll get to go again, and it breaks my heart that she couldn’t go; she has never travelled, and can’t afford it right now. she thinks we’ll seeing the movie together, but it’s all a set up for me to give her the best christmas gift i’ve ever given. it’s costing me almost all of my savings to send her to europe, but she deserves to see the world. i’d sell my hair for my sister.
Wow… does this resonate with me or what! My sister can’t afford to travel, either, but I took her to Chicago a few months ago to see Ramin. My goal is to bring her to the UK with me in the next year or two… as soon as I can raise the funds. I haven’t told her, but I can’t WAIT to see her face when I do!!

ramin karimloo’s “bring him home” is one of the best renditions of the song i’ve heard.

i’m incredibly pleased that fra fee is going to be in the movie, but i just can’t see him as courfeyrac. he’ll always be prouvaire to me.

in my opinion, hadley fraser is the best grantaire there’s been, even including adam linstead and clive carter. his grantaire is the only one who fully feels completely devoted to enjolras. a mess of a man, who was obnoxious enough, loud enough, and frankly, drunk enough to be grantaire.
